Deconstruction of a decommissioned electrical transformer working directly adjacent to the live mainline railway, our operatives used a crab crane to carefully remove the components which were taken from site during a track posession.

Demolition of 6 residential blocks to enable Phase 4 of this massive regeneration project in North London was complicated by having a high voltage UKPN transformer in the middle of the site. This six month project will leave the site clear for hundreds of new properties to be constructed on this site.
Swan Wharf, Dace Road, London E3
Over several phases we took this former industrial site back to the structural bare bones to enable the regeneration of the building into high specification residential apartments. Being a waterside site our works had to ensure that no hazard was presented to passing river and canal traffic

Alpine were asked to step in and remediate works previously completed on this major refurbishment project in the West End of London. Undertaking almost 2 years of demolition, repair and replacement of structural elements allowed this project to be handed over to the fit out contractor to complete the works.

Alpine Demolition were contracted by Fairview New Homes to undertake the demolition and site enabling works on this project as Principal Contractor. This was part of a regeneration project including construction of 331 new homes. Included over 15 thousand square meters of slab requiring crushing
RBS, Lombard Street,
City of London
Alpine Demolition removed 8 above ground and 3 below ground storeys including strip out, asbestos removal and principal demolition works. Retention of structural elements required extensive support installations. Works also included removal of reinforced bank vaults.
Buckland Hospital,
Dover, Kent
This hospital was one of the original NHS Hospitals and parts of it dated back to the 1800s. With a brand new hospital built next door the redevelopment into new housing required demolition of the existing structure. Strict controls in place due to working adjacent to live hospital.
Weetabix Factory,

Extensive contamination of the soil underlying this historic factory required careful control and decontamination of all arisings. Alpine Demolition worked to ensure the stability of the site as demolition progressed especially when removing the extensive underground structures.

As part of a regeneration project Alpine undertook significant temporary works to support the structural alteration of this listed building in an industrial heritage area of East London. Directly adjacent to a live waterway our works included removal of asbestos, diamond sawing and installation of weatherproofing
Courtaulds Factory,
Coventry, W Midlands
Removing heavy plant, remediating large quantities of heavily contaminated soil and the demolition of several chimney stacks whilst ensuring the adjacent canal remained in use. Employing continuous monitoring of noise, dust and vibration we ensured that this vast site was cleared on program.
Global Switch Data Centre,
East India Dock, London
Decommissioning and removal of electrical switchgear and cabling in a live data centre. Using close liaison with the centre managers and strict control of dust and vibration we completed this project with no disturbance to the essential and live comms services around the works

Demolition of legacy headquarters building in West London including contamination control measures and a constrained working environment. The superstructure demolition was undertaken using long reach plant, and a large number of underground tanks were also removed.
